Knowles Transport Limited was founded in 1932 by Gerald Knowles. He started by carrying agricultural produce to the wholesale London markets. especially Covent Garden, and sugar beet from the fields into local refineries.

In the 68 years since those days the company has expanded vastly and is still privately owned. Son of the founder, Mr. Tony Knowles, Managing Director now manages this vast transport and logistics business. The company operates a fleet of 85 ultra-modern vehicles and 200 trailers of all types, transporting and delivering to all parts of the United Kingdom on a daily basis. With this in mind, the fundamental importance, linked with integrity, creates the force that is Knowles Transport today.
